METHOD: Printing with Moisture Sensitive Materials

The MakerBot METHOD Platform boasts a big range of compatible Materials, offering a range of options for different applications. 

Different Materials will generally have diifferent properties and will need special care. 

Certain materials, such as any Nylon-based materials (Nylon, Nylon Carbon Fiber, PVA) exhibit increased moisture sensitivity and uptake and need to be stored in an airtight container with dessicant or in the Material Bay with the Door Closed. 

If these materials take in too much moisture they can be dried in the chamber by navigating to Settings>Advanced>Dry Material.
