How to setup direct dialling between Grandstream Handsets

 

 The below scenario was tested using
  1. Ensure both units are have the latest firmware installed. Firmware available on below link
    https://www.grandstream.com/support/firmware
  2. Login to devices via  a web browser using the IP addresses of the devices -
  3. Click " Phone Settings" - " Call Settings".

Enable both highlighted options.

"Enable Direct IP Call Mode"

"Enable Quick UP-Call Mode"

4. Click " Save" (bottom) and " Apply" on top right hand corner of the browser
5. When dialling ensure that " IP Call " is selected

You can dial the other handset using the IP address or the last octet of the IP address. e.g. 14 as per below example 

 

 
When in a video call the calling device can see its own video stream as well as the stream of the other device. If not, ensure the other device has the same options enabled as shown in point 2.
