The IVSEC Device Config Tool is a network utility that lets you discover IVSEC devices (recorders and cameras) on your local area network (LAN). It also provides configuration and maintenance options, including modifying IP addresses, upgrading firmware, and restoring factory default settings.

Note: Cameras connected to an IVSEC NVR will not appear in the Device Config Tool because they run on a separate, isolated network (VLAN) for security purposes. Only NVRs directly connected to the LAN, or cameras connected via a separate network switch, will be listed.
To access cameras running on the NVR VLAN, connect an Ethernet cable to one of the NVR PoE ports, then connect the other end to your modem, router, or laptop.
Note: After connecting, re-run the Device Config Tool to discover cameras on the NVR VLAN. You may need to temporarily set your computer's IP address to the same subnet as the NVR PoE network to see them listed.
